Day 1: Arrival to Marrakech with Transfer to your accommodation

Your driver will meet you at the airport in Marrakech and transport you to your lodgings on the first day of our 10 days trip from Marrakech to the Merzouga desert. Depending on when you arrive, we might explore the top spots in Marrakech. It’s a great opportunity to experience Marrakech’s essence, practice your bargaining skills, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel or riad.

Day 2: City tour in Marrakech

You will learn about the city of Marrakech on this full-day tour. Immerse yourself in history and enjoy the art and culture of this amazing walled pink city. Capture images of the stunning Koutoubia mosque, which has a large square tower and copper globes that sparkle.

As you meander through the bustling lanes, you’ll pass by antique inns, churches, wood-carved ponds, and traditional eateries. Next, we go to Ben Youssef Madrassa, one of the largest religious institutes in northern Africa with some of the most magnificent Moorish structures on the planet.

The verdant pleasure grounds and exquisite apartments of the Bahia Palace will let you experience the warmth of a wonderful time all over again. The bustling Jamaa El Fana Square, a popular gathering spot for singers, dancers, snake charmers, and performers with dancing monkeys, is where your journey will come to a close.

We’ll have dinner and spend the second night at the hotel or riad.

Day 3: Marrakech to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou to Ouarzazate to Dades Valley

We will pick you up from your Marrakech hotel on the third day of your 10 days tour from Marrakech, and we’ll drive you to Ouarzazate via the magnificent High Atlas Mountains and the 2260-meter Tizi N’Tichka Pass. As we go by Berber villages and through Berber cities, you’ll take in the beautiful surroundings.

Additionally, you will be able to see the Berber women in their group producing argan oil. After that, we will be going to the largest Kasbah in Morocco, the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Before traveling through Ouarzazate, dubbed the “Hollywood of Africa,” to reach the Dades Valley, we will stop for lunch at the Kasbah.

We will travel along the route of the thousand Kasbahs before arriving at Kalaat Mgouna, a fair famous for its roses that takes place in May. In the midst of the Dades Gorges, we will spend the night in a neighborhood riad or hotel and eat breakfast and dinner there.

Day 4: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga dunes - Camel trekking

After you eat breakfast in the riad, we’ll drive through the valley to see how “the monkey toes” were formed. As we leave the Dades Valley and head toward Tinghir and the Todra Valley, we’ll see the old Berber towns made of mud that look out over the valley from afar. After we get to the Gorge, you’ll go for a walk under the 300-meter-high red cliff, where many rock climbers come to do their favorite sport.

We keep going to Erfoud and Rissani, where you’ll have lunch, and then we head to the village of Merzouga, where your camel ride will be waiting. Before your camel ride to the mysterious Erg-Chebbi sand sea, you’ll be given a cup of mint tea and a desert blanket. Your camel ride will be led by an experienced camel guide.

Here, you can spend the night under the stars or in a traditional Berber nomad tent, whichever you prefer.

Day 5: Merzouga - Khamlia - Nomad Families - Fossil Site - Tour of the dunes

Wake up early in the Sahara Desert to watch the sun rise from the top of a dune, then eat breakfast. After these beautiful times, you’ll ride your donkey back to the hotel and take a shower.

You will take a 4×4 tour of the dunes, which will give you the chance to see handcrafted items like fossils in black volcanic rocks, a nomad family living in a tent, Khamlia village and the spiritual music of Gnawa, and the lake Dayate Sarji, which forms in the spring and is home to pink flamingos and other animals.

In Merzouga, you will stop for lunch. After lunch, you will see the canal watering system and take a walk on the island at the foot of the dunes. Stay at your hotel or riad to take a shower and rest, eat dinner, and sleep.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert to Ziz Valley to Azrou to Ifrane to Fes

We will travel to Azrou, a Berber town in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we will stop to admire the Barbarian apes in the cedar forest of Azrou, after having breakfast and taking a shower in the local guest house. On the road to Midelt, we will go via Errachidia, the breathtaking Ziz Gorges made out of volcanic rock, and the Tizi N’Talghamt mountain pass.

After that, we continue to Ifrane, often known as the French Town or Switzerland of Morocco, where we stop for a photo opportunity or a drink before continuing to your lodging in Fes for the night.

Day 7: Full-day trip in Fes

You will meet our local guide in Fes after breakfast to begin your full-day tour of the city, which is regarded as one of the first imperial towns in human history and was established in 808 as the country’s first political, religious, and cultural center. We begin by going to the Royal Palace’s Golden Doors.

Then, from a vantage point far above, we see the wall enclosing an amazing ancient medina. Then we shall walk to experience hundreds of outraged sentiments. You will visit mosques, madrassas, and other religious sites up till the tanners’ district. We continue our journey to the area of craftsmen after your free time for lunch, which is not included.

Fes is earning its rightful reputation as the city of artisans since they imported their expertise from Spain and preserved the Andalusian art and flair. Dinner and a hotel or riad stay are included.

Day 8: Fes - Meknes - Volubilis - Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we will travel from Fes to Chefchaouen, stopping along the way at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the holy city of Moulay Idriss I, where the pioneer of Islam in Morocco is buried. Once you have finished lunch, we continue on to Meknes, also referred to as “The Moroccan Versailles” which was founded by Moulay Ismail at the end of the 17th century. You’ll spend the night in the Chefchaouen riad.

Day 9: Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca

You’ll spend the night at the Casablanca Hotel.

Day 10: Casablanca - Marrakech
