At a distance of 80 kilometers from Agadir, we will reach the city of Taroudant, also known as “Little Marrakech,” with its impressive surrounding walls. These red earth walls enclose the entire old city, giving you an idea of its rich history.
Continuing the drive and visiting the historical Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This kasbah is an important location for Hollywood filmmakers due to its traditional architectural and geometric form. We will have the opportunity to walk and climb, exploring the kasbah from above, offering a beautiful panoramic view, before enjoying a meal at a local restaurant here.
Not far from here, we will visit Atlas Studios, one of the most important film studios in Morocco. We will enter to explore it, where you can see places like the old city, palaces, and unique decorations. You will learn about the creative process and the history of the films shot in this exciting location. Afterward, head to the hotel to enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Ouarzazate - Rose valley - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga desert
On the second day of our tour, we continue driving towards the majestic desert through the 1001 Kasbahs Road to Skoura Oasis, then to the Valley of Roses to Mgouna Castle and to the city of Tinghir. There, we will stop to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the palm oasis and the famous Todra Gorge. Explore the towering walls and take a stroll along the riverbank. Then, we will traverse the beautiful valleys of Dades, known for their magnificent rocky landscapes and traditional Berber mud-brick houses.
