Day 1: Fes guided Tour with a local guide
We will pick you up from your hotel or riad to begin your 6 days tour from Fes to Marrakech through the Merzouga Sahara. The tour will be in an air-conditioned van with a multilingual local guide.
First up on our Fes tour are the Andalusia mosque, which was constructed at the end of the ninth century, and the tanners’ quarters, where leather is created using only natural dyes. The largest mosque in Quarraouine, El-Attarine Madrasa was built in 1325 and is located in the middle of the Medina.
Additionally, the Bab Boujloud gate, the Nejjarine Museum, and Azouia Moulay Idriss are all available to non-Muslims. Untill we have seen the most significant monuments, our journey is not complete. We will then return you to your hotel or riad in Fez so you may spend the night or have supper there.
Day 2: Fes to Azrou (Cedar forest) to Midelt
After breakfast in Fes the next morning, we’ll leave for Midelt. We will definitely go through Ifrane, a getaway that was built in the 1930s by the French but looks like it was designed by a Moroccan. Then we’ll go to Azrou’s cedar trees to enjoy watching the monkeys.
The trip from Fes to Midelt will take most of the day. We will see beautiful forests, springs, and Berber villages. We will get to Midelt after a long trip and stay in a hotel or a riad for dinner and the night.
Day 3: Midelt to Erfoud to Merzouga Sahara Desert
Following breakfast, we’ll begin our 6 days tour from Fes to Marrakech through the Merzouga and Erg Chebbi dunes, departing from Midelt. We’ll stop often along the way to take pictures, enjoy the cool air, panoramic vistas, and see a sizable oasis of palm palms.
When we get to Merzouga, we’ll check into a hotel or riad for supper and the night.
Day 4: Merzouga explore sahara & Camel trek
We’ll go to KHAMLIA the next day to have fun and listen to Gnawa music. We will then see Berber tribes, an oasis in the desert, and old mines that have been abandoned.
Go back to Merzouga for lunch and some rest. Later that night, we’ll go on a camel ride in the sand hills. At night, drum music will play in a camp that is set up. The tour of the Sahara desert in Morocco is a great way to catch the sun going down or rising.
We will spend the night in (nomadic Berber tents) exploring the mysteries of the Sahara and its boundless vistas.
Day 5: Merzouga to Ouarzazate
Early morning walks across the sand dunes to see the dawn is followed by a camel ride back to the hotel for a shower, breakfast, and some downtime.
Next, we turn into the route that leads to the Gorges. Stopping to see Rissani’s historical Sijilmassa monument, major desert commerce hub, and Kasbahs (village forts). After that, as we proceed through the gorges and valleys of Ziz, we will take a little stroll in the canyon of Todra to take in the natural beauty of the mountains and rivers.
Once there, we’ll have supper and spend the night in a riad or one of the city’s classic Kasbahs.
