We’ll pass through Taznakht, a town renowned for its exquisite Berber rugs and carpets. While en route, you’ll be treated to captivating landscapes and a glimpse of the Bouazzer mines, a somewhat remote and less-traveled area.
Continuing our drive to Agadir, we will traverse the Tizi N’Ikhsane and Tizi N’Tighatine mountain passes. We’ll pause for lunch in Taliouine, a town at the heart of Morocco’s saffron cultivation region. Here, you can explore a fascinating museum dedicated to the art of saffron farming.
Following lunch, our journey leads us back to Taroudant, and we’ll follow the course of the often-dry Souss River, surrounded by countless argan trees adorning the hillsides.
