The first stop will be in the city of Ifrane, also known as the "Switzerland of Morocco," where you can explore its beauty.

3-Day Merzouga Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech.

1st Day: Fes – Merzouga Desert.

Our tour starts from your hotel around 8:00 AM, heading towards the desert of Merzouga. You will be picked up by your driver/guide in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. We will make a stop in the city of Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” where you will have an opportunity to take pictures. Then, we will drive south and make a stop in the Azrou forest , which spans an area of about 53,000 hectares and is home to several animals, including the Barbary macaque.

We will continue our tour across the Middle Atlas towards Midelt and have lunch there. In the afternoon, we pass through small, beautiful Berber villages and enjoying the surrounding landscape. We will then reach the oasis of Ziz, where we will make a stop at a stunning panoramic view.

Afterwards, we will drive through Erfoud and arrive in Merzouga, where a camel caravan will be waiting for us. After some relaxation, you will start on another exceptional experience camel rides accompanied by a guide towards the desert camp. You will pass through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, Enjoying the scenery and witnessing the sunset from the top of a nearby peak. Upon arrival at the camp, dinner will be served, followed by a small group of Berber musicians playing drums around a campfire under the starry desert sky.

2nd Day: Merzouga Desert – Doumalne Dades.

On the next day, it is highly recommended to wake up early, take a short walk near the camp, and marvel at the magical and breathtaking sunrise. After breakfast and a refreshing shower at your camp, we will continue our tour towards Boumalne Dades. Along the way, we will visit the city of Rissani, which used to be an important commercial center in the Tafilalt region. You will have an opportunity to explore the town by visiting a traditional market. We will then drive towards the town of Tinghir and make a stop at a beautiful panoramic viewpoint overlooking the adjacent palm groves. From here, we will proceed to the Todra Gorge After having lunch at a local restaurant, we will continue our drive to Boumalne Dades (Dades Valley) along a winding road, where we will spend the night at the hotel.

3rd day: Boumalne Dades – Marrakech.

After breakfast at your hotel, there will be an opportunity to further explore the valley before we drive towards Marrakech. Along the way, we will make a stop in the town of Kalaat Mgouna. Here, you can visit local cosmetics cooperatives and learn about their traditional methods of producing perfumes from roses. Continuing on the road of a thousand kasbahs, we will reach the oasis of Skoura. Take a stroll through the palm tree fields and discover the fortified kasbahs located near the town.

A short distance away, we will arrive at the historical Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (a UNESCO World Heritage site). This kasbah holds great importance in film production, with many movies, including Game of Thrones, Kingdom of Heaven, and The Mummy (1999), being filmed here. After exploring the kasbah, we will have lunch at a local restaurant.

From here, our adventure continues through the Onila Valley towards Kasbah Talouit. This kasbah was a historically inhabited palace and served as one of the stops for trade caravans crossing from the Sahara Desert to Marrakech centuries ago.

In the afternoon, we will continue our tour through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n Tichka pass. We will make a stop to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view before continuing our journey to Marrakech. In the evening, we will escort you to the hotel or airport, concluding this wonderful 3 days tour from Fez to Marrakech.
