Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Ziz Valley - Azrou - Ifrane to Fes

We will continue our 10 days Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga by traveling to Fes in the morning after enjoying breakfast and a revitalizing shower at the nearby guesthouse. We will be traveling via Errachidia, where you’ll be able to see the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved out of volcanic rock along the way. To go to Midelt, we will also have to cross the Tizi NTalghamt pass.

We will stop at Zaida along the way so you can refuel with a relaxing cup of mint tea and enjoy a barbecue feast. After that, we will keep driving to Azrou, a quaint Berber community tucked away in the Middle atlas Mountains. This is where you may see the native Barbary apes who live in Azrou’s cedar forest.

After this memorable encounter, our journey proceeds to Ifrane, often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco.

We will stop for a quick picture opportunity or maybe a coffee break before arriving at your Fes lodging.

After breakfast, you’ll meet our local guide for a full-day tour of Fes, one of the world’s oldest imperial cities and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Founded in 808, it served as the political, religious, and cultural capital.

We will begin with a visit to the magnificent Golden Doors of the Royal Palace, followed by a visit to a high point to enjoy a panoramic view of the medina walls. Then, we’ll take a walking tour of the historic medina, visiting mosques, madrassas, and other places of worship before reaching the tannery quarter.

While lunch is not included in the trip, you’ll have some free time. Afterward, we’ll continue to the artisan quarter, where you can witness the enduring Andalusian craftsmanship and art imported from Spain. Fes is aptly referred to as the “city of artisans.”

Day 9: Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca

Today, we say goodbye to the blue city of Chefchaouen and begin our journey towards Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Rabat boasts a rich tapestry of history and culture, with attractions such as the Hassan Tower, the Kasbah of the Udayas, and the magnificent Royal Palace. we will continue onward to Casablanca, where we will spend the night.

Day 10: Casablanca to Marrakech
