Tour Itinerary: 12 Days Trip From Marrakech
Day 1: When you get to Marrakech, you'll be taken to your hotel.
If your flight is early enough, a Marrakech Morocco Travel driver or guide will pick you up at Menara Airport in Marrakech. Then, you will be taken to your first night’s stay at a Riad or hotel in Marrakech’s Medina.
Day 2: From Marrakech to Casablanca to Rabat.
We will start our trip and drive to Rabat through Casablanca. On the way, we will see the Hassan II Mosque and get a great view of all of Casablanca’s different areas. Going to Rabat, the city of Morocco, after lunch will be the next stop on our 12 days trip from Marrakech through Morocco.
Drive around the Royal Palace walls as part of a city tour. Additionally, you should visit the tombs of Mohammad V and Hassan II. These two kings worked closely with the Jews. Day 3: Rabat, Asilah, and Tangier.

On the way to Tangier, we will stop many times to see Hercules’ Cave and Spartel Cap, which is where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet. Day 4 : Tangier, Rif Mountains, Tetouan and Chefchaouen.
It will be a road from Tangier to Chefchaouen after you spend the night there. You can see three different types of architecture on the way: the Andalusian design, the Spanish style from the first half of the twentieth century, and the after independence style. Our first stop is the picturesque city of “Ifrane,” often hailed as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” where you can soak in the breathtaking views and explore the surrounding forest. Continuing on, we pause in “Azrou” to encounter Barbary Macaque monkeys in the cedar forest, providing an opportunity for memorable pictures.
As we make our way to the Sahara, we navigate the “Tizi n’Talghamt pass” to reach “Errachidia” city, reveling in the scenic vistas of Ziz gorges. The journey unfolds with a leisurely exploration of the panoramic views of the “Ziz Valley.” Our 12 days trip from Marrakech continues through the Tafilalte Oasis, passing by “Aoufous” and “Erfoud,” known for its fossil museums and dates. Day 8 : Merzuga desert, Rissani, Tinjdad, Todra Valley & Gorges, Dades Valley and Ouarzazate.

Day 9 : Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou, High Atlas and Imlil.
Our journey of 12 days trip from Marrakech commences in Ouarzazate, where we’ll begin with a brief visit to the historic Kasbah of Taourirt. We will go 27 kilometers to get to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for being used as a background in movies like “Prince of Persia,” “Gladiator,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” and more. These Kasbahs, or fortresses, stand as a testament to the exotic architecture and cultures of Morocco.
Once we’ve explored the Kasbah, our adventure continues deeper into the High Atlas Mountains through the “Tichka pass,” leading us to the Berber village of Imlil. Venturing through this stunning terrain in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, we’ll be treated to an impressive landscape. Our overnight stay awaits in a guest house nestled in the midst of the Atlas Mountains.
Day 10 : Imlil, Asni and Marrakech.
On this day of our 12 days trip from Marrakech, immerse yourself in the beauty of the Atlas Mountains, with a special focus on Imlil, a quaint village nestled in the foothills of Morocco’s highest peak, Toubkal mountain. Embarking on mules, enjoy a scenic 40-minute ride south to the Berber village of Aroumd (Aremd) at 1843 meters. Indulge in a lunch served in a Berber house in the village of Aroumd, and take a short walk afterward.

Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon for an overnight stay in a Riad, concluding a day filled with mountain exploration and cultural encounters.
Day 11 : Marrakech Guided tour.
Today is dedicated to exploring Marrakech, venturing out from our hotel into the captivating “Red City.” Marrakech, an ancient imperial city in Morocco, derives its name from the Berber language, this word means “Share of God.” It began as a small farming community and was later built by Youssef Ben Tachafine, a Berber king from the Almoravid family. We’ll go to his grave to learn more about his life.
Our journey includes stops at the Koutoubia Mosque, boasting a remarkable minaret and exquisite decorations, the Saadian Tombs, the impressive pool of Menara gardens, the Museum of Dar Si Said showcasing various arts and traditions, and the Bahia Palace. Finally, we’ll meander to Jemaa El-Fna Plaza, a vibrant hub where the culture and traditions of Marrakech come to life. The day concludes with an overnight stay in a Riad in the heart of Marrakech’s medina.
Day 12 : Free Day in Marrakech.
