Itinerary – Marrakech → Ouzoud Waterfalls
Morning Pick-Up from Marrakech
We pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech in the morning, usually between 7:30 and 8:30 AM. From there, we drive together toward Ouzoud, passing through small towns, olive fields, and countryside landscapes along the way.
Arrival & Walk to the Waterfalls
After arriving at Ouzoud, we walk with you to the viewpoints at the top of the falls before heading down along the main path. The route goes through olive groves and local stalls and includes a series of steps leading to the bottom of the waterfalls.
Free Time at Ouzoud
You’ll have free time to explore at your own pace, while we remain nearby and available. Many travelers choose to have lunch at one of the riverside restaurants facing the waterfalls. An optional short boat ride across the river is also available. You can relax, walk around, or take photos before heading back.
Return to Marrakech
In the afternoon, we drive back together to Marrakech, arriving at your hotel or riad in the early evening.
What to Expect at Ouzoud Waterfalls
Ouzoud is a natural site with walking paths and stairs. The descent to the bottom of the waterfalls involves a number of steps, so comfortable shoes are important. Wild monkeys are commonly seen around the area; they are generally calm, but feeding them is not recommended.
Water levels are strongest in spring and early summer, while the rest of the year still offers pleasant views and a relaxed atmosphere. Some areas near the water can be slippery.
