Tour Itinerary: 10 Days Tour From Casablanca To Marrakech

Day 1: You arrive in Casablanca and are taken from the airport to your hotel.

When you get to Casablanca, which is the economic capital of Morocco, our driver or guide will be ready at the airport to pick you up and show you around the city. On the first day of our 10 days tour from Casablanca, we’ll go to some important places that add a lot to the city’s beauty, cultural diversity, and historical significance.

The beautiful Hassan II Mosque will be the first stop. The most beautiful mosque in Africa is right on the Atlantic Ocean, which makes it even more beautiful. Inside, the beautiful building and decorations will take your breath away.

On your private tour, we’ll also show you the lively Habous market and Quartier. Afterward, we’ll take you for a drive along Casablanca’s Corniche. After that, we’ll go to a diner where you can enjoy a delicious fish dish for lunch. You will spend your first night in Casablanca.

Day 2: From Casablanca to Rabat to Chefchaouen

After you have breakfast at your Casablanca hotel, we will start our trip to Chefchaouen. We’ll stop along the way to see some interesting places in Rabat, such as the “Royal Palace,” “the Hassan Tower,” and “the Mausoleum of Mohamed V.” As our road trip goes on, you’ll also have the chance to see important landmarks.

After that, we’ll keep going until we get to the beautiful town of Chefchaouen where you’ll spend the night at your hotel.

Day 3: a full day trip to Chefchaouen and a tour of the city's sights

On the third day of the 10 days tour from Casablanca, you will go to Chefchaouen to see all of the city’s most important places. After having breakfast at your hotel, you’ll have the chance to see the beautiful town of Chefchaouen, which is one of Morocco’s most popular tourist spots.

The walls of Chefchaouen’s Medina are painted in different shades of blue, which makes the city stand out. As you enter Chefchaouen’s Medina, you might want to start your tour by going to the “Ras El Maa Waterfall,” a well known waterfall on top of a mountain. This place gives you a great view of the whole city and lets you explore its hilly terrain.

As you climb, you’ll come across a number of important sites and places that hold meaning. One of them is “Place Outa El Hamam,” a square with bars and restaurants all around it, a great place to relax. Along with the square, there is also the “Kasbah,” an 18th century protected building. It has been repaired in many ways and now has a lovely yard in Chefchaouen.

That being said, you should not end your walk without seeing the “Grand Spanish Mosque,” which was built in the 1400s. You’ll be spending the night in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen to Volubilis to Meknes to Fes

After breakfast at your Chefchaouen hotel on the fourth day of our 10 days tour from Casablanca, we will set out on our trip. As we say goodbye to Chefchaouen, our path will lead us to Fes.

We will stop in Ouazzane as part of our plans for the day. We will have the chance to stop at Volubilis along the way. It is the oldest Roman base and is in the southern part of Morocco. You can see how big the Roman Empire was and look at the beautiful tiles in the old, broken down homes.

We will continue our trip and go through Meknes City. There, we will take a walk through El Hedim Square and the old Medina. We’ll visit a number of interesting spots in the city, such as the Mausoleum Moulay Ismail, Sahrij Souani, and Bab El Mansour, which is the biggest gate in all of Morocco.

We’ll stop for lunch in Meknes and then continue our journey to Fes, the royal city. You’ll spend the night at your hotel in Fes.

Day 5: a full day trip to see Fes.

On this day of our 10 days tour from Casablanca, we will focus on visiting the most important sites in Fez. Fez is the oldest city in Morocco and has a lot of spiritual and cultural meaning.

A local guide will be with you to make sure you get the most out of your trip. There are many interesting places and landmarks in Fez, such as Al-Qarawiyyin University, which is thought to be the world’s first university, the Bou Inania Madrasa (theological college), the Jewish District (Millah), several plazas, the Andalusian Quarter, workshops for artists, museums, traditional Souks (markets), the fascinating Tanneries, and Bab Boujloud.

You will enjoy lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant in the old Medina. Fez is also known as the home of crafts in Morocco. You’ll have the chance to pay a short visit to a famous ceramic workshop during your full day trip in Fez. After that, you can enjoy an amazing view of the Medina of Fez.

We’ll take you back to your riad or hotel in Fez, where you’ll spend the night after an interesting trip.

Day 6: Fes to Ifrane to Azrou to Midelt to Erfoud to the Merzouga Desert

Our 10 days tour from Casablanca is now on the sixth day. You can have breakfast at your Fes lodging before we leave on our trip, which will go southeast. This is where we will start: the city of Ifrane, which is sometimes called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Following that, we will go to Azrou’s Cedar Forest, which is the country’s biggest forest and home to apes.

After our stop in Azrou, we’ll keep driving and have a nice lunch break in Midelt…. The next part of our plan takes us over the Tizi N’Taghamt pass, which has stunning views, and through the beautiful Ziz valley. You can stop along the way to enjoy the view of the Ziz valley.

We will keep going on our way to the beautiful Merzouga desert as the day goes on. You will spend the night in Merzouga at a hotel or riad and enjoy the unique desert atmosphere.

Day 7: Visit Merzouga and the Sahara Desert, ride a camel, and stay in a desert camp.

The seventh day of our 10 days tour from Casablanca is dedicated to visiting the towns around Erg Chebbi and its beautiful sand dunes. After having breakfast at your hotel, we’ll start our trip with a stop to see the wandering Berber families who live in traditional tents in the middle of the Sahara desert. While you’re there, you can watch how they live and have a cup of tea with them.

After this interesting meeting, we’ll go to Khamilia, a charming town where the Gnaoua people live. Here, you can get a real feel for their unique songs and way of life. This Gnaoua music will be played during lunch time.

Later that day, we’ll go back to Merzouga and leave the car there. Then, we’ll go on an amazing camel trip through the Erg Chebbi desert’s tall sand dunes. From the top of a high hill, you’ll be able to see the most beautiful sunset ever.

Then we’ll go back to your camp in the desert, where you’ll spend the night. You will be able to hear nomads playing Berber music in the desert under the stars after a delicious dinner. You can sway to the beat of this lively music if you want to dance.

Day 8: Merzouga Desert, Erfoud, Todra Gorges, and Dades Gorges.

You will have the chance to see the beautiful sunrise over the mesmerizing sand dunes of Erg Chebbi before going back to your Merzouga lodging. The rising sun will make the sea of sand dunes look like a painting, with different shades of color and shadow.

Then you’ll take a camel ride back to your Merzouga lodging after taking in this outdoor show. Once you get there, you can take a shower to freshen up and eat a tasty breakfast to start the day.

We’ll continue our trip by going to Rissani, which has a famously big traditional market that you can check out. Then we’ll go to the amazing Todra Gorges, which are the lowest and tallest gorges in Morocco. You will be able to take a walk through its beautiful river.

Lunch will be served at a diner with a beautiful view of the valley. Our exploration will continue as the day goes on as we make our way to the Dades Valley. You will be amazed by the beautiful sandcastles and the amazing rock sculptures called “monkey toes.”

A hotel or riad with stunning views of the amazing Dades Valley will be your home for the night.

Day 9: From Dades Gorges to Skoura to Ouarzazate to Ait Benhaddou and back to Marrakech

The ninth day of our 10 days tour from Casablanca takes us from the Dades Gorges to the lively city of Marrakech. But before you get to Marrakech, you’ll have the chance to see the beautiful Dades Valley. Along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” we’ll stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, which is also called the “Valley of Roses.” In this beautiful spot, you can buy things made from roses, and if you happen to visit in May, there is a fun Rose Festival here.

The next stop on our trip is the Amridil Kasbah in Skoura. Next, we’ll see the interesting Ouarzazate film sets. Many famous movies from around the world have been filmed in these studios, which are also called Atlas Studios or the Hollywood of Africa.

After that, we’ll go to the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which was once a rest stop for caravans and is now a popular place to film foreign movies. Lunch will be served at a place with a beautiful view of the Kasbah.

Finally, we’ll take a beautiful drive through the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, where you can see rivers, mountains, and cute Berber towns that will take your breath away. We’ll get to Marrakech in the evening, and you’ll spend the night at a hotel.

Day 10: A trip to Marrakech for the whole day to see the sights

On the last day of our 10 days trip through Morocco, we will be visiting Marrakech, which is sometimes called the “Red City” because of the color of its walls. Your adventure in Marrakech starts after you eat breakfast at your hotel. You’ll have the chance to see a number of famous places, such as:

  • The Koutoubia Mosque
  • The Majorelle Gardens
  • The lively Souks (traditional markets)
