Over twelve days, we will move from the Atlantic shoreline to the ancient medinas of Fes, through the Sahara dunes, across kasbah routes, and finally toward the ocean breeze of Essaouira before returning to Casablanca. Each region has its own character, and this tour allows us to experience that contrast naturally.

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

When you arrive at Casablanca airport, we will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, we may take a short orientation drive to see the city center or the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque by the ocean.

The rest of the day is for settling in and relaxing after your flight.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat

Today we leave Casablanca and travel to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital. We will explore the Oudayas Kasbah, enjoy views over the Bouregreg River, and visit Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V.

Rabat offers a calm atmosphere compared to larger cities, allowing us to walk comfortably through its medina and coastal areas before overnight stay.

Day 3: Rabat – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

We begin the day heading inland toward Volubilis, where Roman ruins stretch across open hills. The preserved mosaics and columns reflect Morocco’s ancient past.

From there, we continue to Meknes to see its monumental gates and royal heritage before reaching Fes in the evening.

Day 4: Exploring Fes

Fes is one of Morocco’s most historic cities. With a local guide, we will explore the old medina, visit traditional schools, artisan quarters, and viewpoints overlooking the city.

Walking through Fes feels like stepping back in time, where craftsmen still work using traditional methods passed down for generations.

Day 5: Fes – Middle Atlas – Merzouga

Leaving Fes, the scenery changes as we enter the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will pass through small towns and cedar forests before the landscape gradually becomes more arid.

Crossing the Ziz Valley, filled with palm groves, we approach the edge of the Sahara. By late afternoon, we arrive near the dunes of Merzouga.

Day 6: Sahara Desert Experience

Today we discover the desert surroundings. We will visit local villages, meet nomadic families, and see how life continues in this vast landscape.

In the late afternoon, we ride camels into the dunes as the light changes over the sand. The evening is spent in a desert camp with traditional dinner and music under the stars.

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra – Dades – Ouarzazate

After sunrise in the desert, we continue west toward Todra Gorge, where steep canyon walls rise dramatically on both sides.

We then drive through Dades Valley and Kalaat M’Gouna, known for its roses, before reaching Ouarzazate — a city famous for its kasbahs and film history.

Day 8: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech

We visit Ait Ben Haddou, a historic ksar built from earth and straw, reflecting southern Moroccan architecture. The site has served as a backdrop for many international films.

Continuing through the High Atlas Mountains, we pass traditional Berber villages before descending into Marrakech.

Day 9: Discovering Marrakech

Marrakech offers a vibrant contrast to the desert. We will visit historic palaces, gardens, and walk through lively souks filled with colors and spices.

As evening approaches, Jemaa el-Fna square becomes animated with street performers and food stalls, offering a unique atmosphere.

Day 10: Marrakech – Essaouira

Today we travel toward the Atlantic coast. The road to Essaouira passes through argan tree regions and open countryside.

In Essaouira, we explore the fishing port, coastal ramparts, and relaxed medina streets known for their white and blue architecture.

Day 11: Essaouira – Oualidia – El Jadida – Casablanca

We follow the coastal route north, stopping near Oualidia’s lagoon before continuing to El Jadida, where Portuguese architecture reflects a different chapter of Moroccan history.

By late afternoon, we return to Casablanca for our final night.
